Caught in the Clapper - Script First Interview - Jim
Hello, I'm
Jim Dean
and welcome to another issue of
"Caught in the Clapper"
[hold clapper and make is clap]
Recently we went to the DIFF
that's Dahlonega International Film Festival
and we talked with several of the independent film
also some video, producers and directors.
We asked them some easy and some hard questions about
getting started with independent Film and Video
We were surprised by the number of entries that were shot
using only Mini-dv and some ordinary VHS video cameras.
There were of course many entries shot in 35 mm film.
This event attracted film makers from all across the USA
and even a few from overseas.
In this issue and many that follow,
you will see myself and other Hosts/interviewers
talking to the next up and coming film and video makers of the future
We sent a team of interviewers to Diff,
and we have a lot to talk about,
so lets go to our first interview.
